Going Green!
We ask that all of our participating partners refrain from the distribution of plastic bags at this event! VITEMA sponsored tote bags will be available at the STJ Angels Environmental work group table. We are encouraging our guests to take photos of handouts instead of picking up papers that will most likely end up in our landfills. Get a bag when you show us a picture of some valuable information you have "collected" at the event!
In lieu of disposable plastic water bottles, our partners, Island Green Living Association and All Hands and Hearts, will be hosting water stations at the event! Come show us your reusable cup or water bottle at the STJ Angels Donations and Resource Management table and draw a ticket for a free solar light, wi-fi booster or flashlight!
Canine's Cat's and Critters will be providing FREE microchip implants and rabies vaccinations for our furry puppy friends older than three months on Saturday from 10-4. They will also be providing vouchers for FREE spaying/neutering for both canines and cats. Come see them at their booth and hear them speak on PET EVAC procedures at noon! This is a PET FRIENDLY event, but please keep them on a leash!
Love City Strong will be providing information about making sure your generator is ready too! See them on Saturday to sign up for free generator preparedness.
Join All Hands and Hearts for some Love City comfort food courtesy of Chester's Pop Up Kitchen and $1 STJ Brewers Summer Ale Cans on Saturday from noon-4pm. As a thank you to our island, for making them feel so at home here on STJ, this amazing organization is sponsoring this community appreciation picnic. Thank you to the Tap Room crew for the brews and to Chester for donating his time!
