Lionfish Removal Training and Certification

The C.O.R.E. Foundation Inc. a 501-C3 non-profit organization in Good Standing with the Government of the Virgin Islands will be conducting Lionfish removal training and certification on the islands of St. Croix, St. Thomas and St. John on June 30th (last Sunday of June), 2019.

To participate in this event, you will be required to demonstrate the ability to free dive to a minimum depth of 10'. You will also need to bring: Swim Fins, Swim Mask, Snorkel, Swimsuit. Weights and thermal wear are optional. The C.O.R.E. Instructor will provide the necessary spears and accessories for the training event.

Due to the amount of time invested in each participant, we ask that only people spending enough time in VI reef environments to make a difference, attend. Please RSVP to allow C.O.R.E. to schedule the proper amount of personnel to conduct a safe and efficient event. A $20.00 administration fee covers the cost of the C.O.R.E. Responder Card.
