Coral Bay Ridge to Reef Hike

Go with the Coral Bay flow!!
This 4-hour adventure starts at the Coral Bay Community Council Office (CBCC) - across from the Coral Bay Fire Station. Our carpool caravan will head to the top of King’s Hill Road at Centerline Road (next to Colombo’s Smoothies) with a stop at the stunning Coral Bay overlook: a picture-perfect spot to see the Coral Bay Watershed almost in its entirety. As you hike down the switchbacks of old unpaved King’s Hill Road into Coral Bay, you will explore the meaning of a watershed and discover the importance and powerful impact this watershed has on our environment and island lives. The hike will conclude with a restful stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, you will meander back to the cars parked at the CBCC office to carpool drivers back to their vehicles parked at Centerline Road. There, we’ll part ways having acquired a new perspective of our watershed and techniques so that you too can protect our beautiful waters.
