Leinster Bay (Factory) Ruins Volunteer Cleanup

This project work will involve clearing vegetation from the factory ruin site using loppers and hand saws. Volunteers should come prepared with CLOSED TOE SHOES, WATER BOTTLE, SNACKS, and SUN PROTECTION. LONG PANTS are highly recommended because this area is full of thorny plants like acacia, catch-and-keep, and stinging nettle. The factory ruin is located 1 mile from the Annaberg parking lot, down the Leinster Bay Trail, behind the beach at Waterlemon.
The VOLUNTEER VAN will depart from the NPS maintenance lot (next to Mongoose Junction) at 8 am and return by 2 pm.
